iFlow
iFlow allows you to create automated processes for your iMIS, iScore, iProducts and a variety of other database and accounting systems.
iFlow has no limit on the number processes you can automate, or the number of steps in your processes, and can work against almost any table in your iMIS or iScore database.
Automate and save time
iFlow replaces the need for most SQL triggers, end of day scripts and many of those annoying to do lists in your email/calendaring systems.
Consider an iMIS contact activity (Say the follow-up date field) that is used for recording the current status of your task. The status is normally updated by your staff as they move through one of your standard office procedures.
iFlow allows this procedure to be automated. As your status field changes, or as some required task or threshold is met, your staff would normally have to remember to manually update your activity records with the revised information and then pass this onto another staff member (or send some information to your management, members or customers).
iFlow can automate this process enabling the status of any other field to be updated as a result of some other action in your database or interaction with your staff.
Activities are one possible interaction but iFlow is designed to operate against most tables including orders, invoices and events
Any process any time
iFlow is a very flexible product. Most processes that incorporate communications between your staff or your customers are candidates for iFlow.
And iFlow goes beyond your local area network! Using dynamically created Web Forms defined in iFlow your customers or members can be automatically sent or select electronic forms that include coded links back to your web site. Your clients can interact easily and quickly to perform a task or answer your query. This can utilise your existing web site, iMIS® e-Series security, or can be public.
When the responses are saved, the records in your database can be automatically updated, or information sent to someone in your organization for them to review. Of course when the review tasks take place, iFlow can automatically update relevant records and perform required processing based on your database.
Detailed Audit Trails
And all steps can be logged so that a complete history of all updates and responses is maintained. This is very important as your customers interact with you and your database.
iFlow works on the basis that steps occur when a database record meets the conditions you set. The steps can include database updates, emails, reports or most computer processes or software that can be run automatically. So those ends of month reports that are always forgotten can be simply emailed by iFlow saving your staff valuable time.
All processes can also be timed or restricted to specific users so that they only occur for a certain period and are available to specific users.
No Administrator Required
Best of all iFlow knows about your iMIS® and iScore database and your data. So you won’t need to be a programmer to set iFlow up and administer it on a daily basis.
Some simple examples include:
"Let me know when any activities have follow-ups that are three days overdue by sending me an email every Monday morning."
to something more complex such as:
"Send me a consolidated Excel spreadsheet by Region or Chapter on the 1st of the month summarizing the campaigns that generated my current prospect list."
Organizational data quality rules such as:
"When an iMIS® record is entered check the Title, Date of Birth, Source_code, Prefix and Gender are loaded. If any are incorrect after the record is saved produce a message window advising the user that required data was missed, log the message. Email the Staff supervisor if more than three messages are logged in any 2 hour period for this user.
Or an iFlow for the organization that automates (a lot of) work:
"When a Non-Member attends an event by booking on-line and providing an email address, email an offer to join and quote the savings that the course would generate at member rates."
If the prospect clicks on the link provided in his email, display the Event special sign up form and capture the Prospect details, add an iMIS® activity for the Membership Manager to follow up in seven days or email the task if the Membership Manager is running remotely. Update the activity to say membership information emailed. Follow up the activity with the ED Membership if the prospective Member activity follow up is not updated within 10 days by sending an email with the e-Series links to each of the outstanding prospect records.
Send a Word document summarising how long each prospective member took to decide on becoming a member for each of the Membership managers for the past month to the Executive Membership Committee members on the 1st of each following month."
Save time, save money
iFlow could be the most cost effective purchase you make this year. Give your staff back some of their time and let the computers do more of the daily routine.
