iMail allows you to work easily with your iMIS® data records when selecting and communicating with your iMIS® contacts. Appropriate for emails, fax and post, iMail will allow you to control how many communications, and of what type you have with your iMIS® contacts.

iMail is a great tool as the increasingly sensitive issues of personal information stored in your databases are discussed by our legislators. It puts you in control providing you with the tools to satisfy many requirements proposed in the privacy guidelines.

The Three Components of iMail

Firstly, a desktop or web based module allowing the user to email or produce mailing lists from iMIS®. Activities can be generated from the selection process and the activities can have Campaign and analysis codes recorded to enable easy control, retrieval and searching on your iMIS® activities.

Secondly, there is a web based module that enables your members or customers to communicate with you, requesting to be included or excluded from your various lists, or excluded altogether from your resale of mailing lists. In addition the recipient can restrict how many communications they receive from you over a time period. iMail automatically handles the communications which cannot be sent to the recipient recording the result that the recipient has restricted the amount of emails received. This is a simple screen based on the Custom iMIS® windows.

Thirdly, iMail operates with Microsoft Exchange Server to allow full tracking of the emails you send and receive from your database contacts. iMail will enable simple tracking of all email and fax communications processed through your Exchange Server. Incoming and outgoing emails can be tracked and added as an activity to your iMIS® database. Where large volumes of data are involved alternate tables can be allocated to store less important email traffic.
